The wind farm site is located approximately 12.5 km south of Simpson, Victoria and is bounded by Princetown Road the south and by privately owned properties to the other quadrants.
The area where the wind turbines will be installed is shown in the map below and consists of privately owned land that is used primarily for grazing.
This site has been chosen because it receives undisturbed wind flow with strong, consistent wind speeds, is in close proximity to the electrical grid, and there are large setbacks to nearby dwellings.
